SAVE YOUR LICENSE
If you have been sanctioned by the Virginia Board for Contractors, you have a deadline (usually 90 days) for a member of Responsible Management to successfully complete the 8-hour remedial education requirement.
Protect your license! Be proactive. This intensive course can help you manage the risks that result in contractors losing their licenses. Taking this class is easier than trying to understand all the regulations and statutes in the Code of Virginia and the Virginia Administrative Code that can affect your license.
Learn the regulations! There are more than 50 DPOR regulations that you will need to know as a contractor or tradesman in Virginia. This class is good for test or training preparation.
DON'T SAY YOU DIDN'T KNOW
This class is unique. No other education provider in Virginia offers a class like this. Other education providers DO NOT offer separate remedial education - their prelicense classes double-up as remedial classes.
How do we know this class is unique? Because our instructor is a licensed attorney in Virginia working in construction law who was a member of the Virginia Board for Contractors. This class is based on that unique insider experience. The information in this class comes from the same criteria that DPOR uses to investigate complaints and determine violations. If you didn't learn the regulations the first time, now is your chance
If you were sanctioned at the following Board for Contractor meetings: December 8, 2009 - your DEADLINE is March 8, 2010 January 12, 2010 - your DEADLINE is April 12, 2010
